Pocklington Community Trust CIO has been established to manage Burnby Hall as a Community Centre and Enterprise Hub on behalf of the people of Pocklington. On completion of the community asset transfer to Pocklington Town Council, Burnby Hall will close for extensive renovation and repair work. During the period of refurbishment Pocklington Community Trust will endeavour to keep the Community Hall open for hire.

DIFEY funded Baby Changing Area now complete
A new baby change area has been created in the Community Hall funded by a Do It For East Yorkshire (DIFEY) grant. The Trustees would like to thank the DIFEY team at ERYC for their support. Completion of window replacement in Community Hall
The Trustees would like to thank YORhub and East Riding of Yorkshire Council for providing YOR4Good grant funding to enable the installation of new Accoya sash and casement double glazed windows, in the Community Hall. The Community Hall has facilities for everyone. Welcoming, spacious, versatile, affordable and accessible. An ideal venue for your class, event or function, whether it’s a music concert, conference, children’s parties or the local Horticultural Show!

Since it was built in 1866, what is now known as Burnby Hall has gone through considerable change, from its names to its appearance (both inside and out), and to how the hall has been used.
