Becoming a Volunteer
By October this year, we hope the handover of Burnby Hall from ERYC has taken place, and we can start to rent out the Community Hall. There are many practical tasks that will need to be done. There’s a booking system to oversee, everyday handyman tasks that will arise, small gardens that need upkeep. We will need a team of Duty Managers to open up the Hall, check it has been left in a clean and tidy condition, and lock it again, and we’ll need someone to co-ordinate the work of the Duty Managers. When the refurbishment of Burnby Hall is completed, even more volunteers will be needed, to ensure the smooth running of the hall. Please consider if you could volunteer for any of these tasks.
