Our Vision
The aim of the Burnby Hall project is to establish a Community Hub and Enterprise Centre, providing meeting space and office accommodation to serve a wide variety of community interest groups and enterprise start-ups, who would otherwise struggle to find a place to undertake their activities at an affordable cost within the town.
Burnby Hall will also offer a permanent home to a Youth Group, Food Bank and Archaeological Museum showcasing local finds of national and international significance. The museum would also become an important educational and research resource for the Yorkshire region.
The Community Hub will provide 7 day a week access to the Community Hall. The venue will offer competitive pricing with easy on-line booking and payment arrangement for community use.
A new conference/lecture room will also be created. A range of offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, a suite of consulting rooms with waiting area and a kitchen will also be available to hire.
The Enterprise Centre will offer flexible co-working packages and serviced facilities to freelancers, SMEs and professionals looking for an alternative to homeworking or the cost of renting office accommodation. There will also be the opportunity to rent premium, serviced offices within Burnby Hall, or take advantage of a virtual office service, for businesses requiring a prestigious address and use of first-class meeting rooms and services.
